In 2016 planning began for a proposed
restoration to the building. Initial
talks involved the Town of Camden,
Maine Historical Society, Cold Mountain
Builders, Department of Marine
Resources, Maine Department of
Environmental Protection, Army Corps
of Engineers, and the Maine Historic
Preservation Commission.
The intent is to restore the original structure to the precise standards found in 1904.
